Andrew Cunningham

 Andrew Cunningham is a forensic chemist specialised in the drugs field and has being working in law enforcement authorities for 15 years, prior to which he worked in the chemical laboratories of Astra Zeneca. He started out as a general forensic chemist attending crime scenes and doing general lab work but then progressed to the position of Head of the Forensic Drugs Laboratory in Glasgow, one of the busiest in the UK. In 2004 was recruited by the Scottish Crime and Drugs Enforcement Agency and was responsible for the forensic aspects of organised crime investigations in Scotland as well as the vigilance for New Psychoactive Substances.  He worked with the US Drug Enforcement Administration, Europol and extensively with  SOCA in the UK. He joined EMCDDA in 2012 as a scientific analyst.
