Erica Grilo Cardoso is a pharmacist and since June 2018 Chairman of the Administration Board of a Public Ophthalmological Hospital – IOGP.
With more than 18 years of professional experience, Erica Cardoso worked as Good Manufacturing Inspector at INFARMED, I.P. performing inspections to manufactures of human medicinal products and active pharmaceutical ingredients in Portugal and overseas, wholesalers (GDP) and other agents in the medicines circuit, since raw materials to finished products, inspections to hospital pharmacies, ensure activities related to quality defects and rapid alert notifications, technical and scientific advice to scientific projects in cellular therapy area as well as representation of INFARMED at national and international level.
Since 2009 Erica Grilo Cardoso as joined the Portuguese Probation and Prison Services as a deputy governor of the Prison Hospital. From 2011 to 2016 worked as Head of Health Management Department managing and coordinating all relevant activities and resources contributing to the health and well-being of inmates, and from September 2016 to June 2018 Director of the Portuguese Prison Hospital of the Portuguese Probation and Prison Services
