Claúdia Costa Storti

Claúdia Costa Storti Cláudia Costa Storti works at the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction in Lisbon and her main interests are the economic aspects of drug policy.

She is currently in charge of analysing the public costs of drug-related policy and the impact of the economic recession and public austerity on drug use and drug policy.

The analysis of drug markets has also been part of her duties, leading to the publication of scientific articles in drug-related journals, editorials in MIT books and an EMCDDA technical paper.

She holds an MSc in Economics from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium, and a degree in Economics from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal.

She is Associate Editor of the International Journal of Drug Policy.
